From my bi-weekly Boston Organics fruit and vegetable box:
I’m most psyched about the Pea Sprouts and most concerned about the Green Beans… as that was the one items we had to toss from the last box. I guess I’ll cook it firs this time!!!
I love that you post the contents of your organics box. I’ve been thinking about signing up.
Do you ever freeze anything you can’t use up?
Hey LVS,
I’m glad you enjoy the list. We do the $37 box… which is a bit too big for us. Mostly b/c I have not been cooking enough. I need to start with this load.
I would definitely recommend going with the $27/box… depending on how much you cook/eat.
I would do MUCH better if I was freezing things, but I’m one of those freezer whores who keeps the freezer jam packed with things we never eat! I literally could not even fit an ice cube tray in there right now!
My fiance and I have thought about buying into a food coop. We have yet to do it. Maybe I’ll put it on my list of things to do when we move into a new home.
We haven’t done a CoOp yet, but may this summer. If we did, we’d put Boston Organics on hold and do the CoOp for the summer. My only concern is that I do have a vegetable garden in the summer, but I only really grow tomatoes (lots of them) and cucumbers. So there wouldn’t be too much overlap… and tomatoes are so yummy… I’m sure we could find people to give them to!
You can also do every other week delivery of Boston Organics.
Now about those green beans…
Tomorrow’s list could be of green bean recipes!
I’ll start you out with the idea of a green bean salad to celebrate the beginning of Spring! Since you’ve been craving Asian, I’ll make it Asian.
green bean salad with asian-style dressing (the reviewers say use less of the dressing!)

Thanks Penny!
Maybe even today’s list?
