I’m Off to En Jay

Get it? “NJ“, as I like to call it. I’m heading down today after work… sans hubbie. Just me and the 3-year old. Should be fun (note the sarcasm).

I will still do my daily “list” post over the weekend, though I cannot promise that they will be overly creative!

For today… I’m keeping it simple. A list of restaurants that Boston.com suggests for Easter Dinner on Sunday:

  1. Avenue One
  2. Berkshire’s
  3. Cafe Fleuri
  4. Kings
  5. Great Bay
  6. Meritage
  7. Sel De La Terre
  8. Taj Boston
  9. The Beacon Hill Bistro
  10. The Beehive
  11. Top of the Hub
  12. Turner Fisheries
  13. Henrietta’s Table
  14. Rialto
  15. Upstairs on the Square

I actually have some additional “dish” on The Beehive. According to their press release:Their Easter hours are:Sunday, March 23, 2008, 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Brunch) 3:00PM – 5:00PM (Bar Menu) 5:00PM – 1:00AM (Dinner Service)And their Easter festivities include:“…This year we know where Peter Rabbit will be kicking back mimosas after a long morning off hiding eggs. The Beehive in Boston’s South End will be celebrating Easter Sunday with: live entertainment featuring the sultry Jazz sounds of Carmen Marsico, a brunch menu for adults and children, and an egg hunt with goodies of all sorts (no specific time – people allowed to search all day). This year’s menu will consist of The Beehive’s regular Brunch items including: French Toast, Eggs Benedict and Omelets of all shapes and sizes, as well as, al a carte specialty items such as: Leg of Lamb, Green Beans and Potato Gratin ($19) and Filet of Sole with Grilled Asparagus and Wild Rice ($19) which will run throughout brunch hours and during dinner service as well. A special children’s menu including Pasta with Butter ($5) Grilled Cheese ($5) and the Beehive Hot Dog and Frites ($5) will also be up for grabs. Reservations recommended…”So hop on over there! (sorry, couldn’t resist)
