Ken Oringer — Iron Chef

If you missed Iron Chef America Sunday night (like I did), you can read Globe correspondent J. Kenji Alt’s take on the evening. Oringer walked away with the gold after a fast paced evening of coffee-themed dishes — funny for a boy coming from Bean Town.

Reading about his creativity and his use of interesting and unusual ingredients reminded me of just how much I love Clio and how curious I am to try Toro, KO Prime and La Verdad. Congrats Ken!

The show airs again tomorrow night at 11pm… but I’m not sure which channel. One other cool item of note… the dishes the Ken created on Iron Chef are appearing on the menus at Clio, Toro and KO Prime… all the more reason to give him your patronage!
