Groundbreaking for Legacy Place

The high-end “lifestyle center” in Dedham — that is slated to open in Summer 2009 — officially broke ground today. I cannot tell you how excited I am for this addition to the meager offerings of the current South West suburbs. This will be the first “lifestyle center” to come to the Boston area. I am fairly familiar with this concept because it has become very popular in the Orlando area — where my in-laws live.

This is really a great thing for the West Roxbury, Roslindale, Hyde Park and Dedham community, as well as our surrounding neighbors. Not only is the 675,000 square foot center going to offer many indoor activities and an outdoor retreat for both adults and children, but there will also be many high-end retailers and a whole slew of restaurants. I have posted about this before, but saw a more extensive list today and wanted to provide you all with what we’re in store for! (pun intended)
