Cooler weather this weekend???

That’s what they are saying. Gosh… I hope so — I’m sweating my arse off over here!

With cooler weather comes the desire to finally go outside again. Yes, it’s Father’s Day this weekend, but there are some cool festivities occurring as well.

On Saturday, June 14th from 12 to 6pm is the 29th annual Cambridge River Festival“A FREE one-day celebration of the arts along the banks of the Charles River—featuring jazz, folk, Latin and world music performances, dance, art demonstrations, family art-making activities and over 100 specialty food purveyors and craftspeople!”

Then, on Sunday, June 15th from 12 to 3pm is the 11th annual Taste of Allston Village“This annual fundraiser is an event “that would do the United Nations’ annual picnic proud,” according to Stuff@Night. The Taste features food from an international array of Allston Village eateries, a silent auction, and live music. Come spend Father’s Day enjoying the great outdoors, and some fantastic eats!”
