You had me at hello… even though your line was long and the place was packed… the delectablity (is that a word?) of your Sticky Buns (“dark, sticky caramel and toasted pecans $2.75″) had The Husband, Mother and Father drooling and gobbling up every last morsel.
The Apple Snacking Spice Cake (“apples and more apples, raisins, spice and nuts $2.75) flooded my palate with a sweet, tart and heavenly comfort…
While the devilishly Vegan Chocolate Muffin Cake ($2.75) kept even the craziest almost 4-yo at bay while we sat outside, enjoying the last of the summer sun — while devouring our delicious breakfast that Sunday morning.
Thank you Flour Bakery!!!!
I work right near the Flour on Farnsworth Street, and I’ll head over there every once in a while for lunch. It’s a little expensive for my taste, but totally worth it. I’ve never been disappointed by a sandwich (I’ve had the BLT, pesto mozzarella, smoked turkey, and grilled chicken with peppers and onions… all delish) and the raspberry seltzer is to die for. I recommend calling in an order if you’re planning to go for lunch, though, because the lines are ridiculous. Pay over the phone, then just swing in and walk out with your lunch!
I was looking at their lunch menu wondering how it was… It’s hard to pass up the breakfast goodies though!
I think these photos qualify as food porn…
I love Flour Bakery!! And yes, their lunch menu is fantastic!
This dish looks so beautiful with the colors, I’m sure it’ll be a big hit with the kids! What a beautiful dish. I especially love that you added the sticky caramel.
