We’ll be landing in the Sunshine State late Saturday and returning on Friday. I’ve written about dining out in Orlando a few times, but would love some feedback from my readers. We are staying down by Disney this time — at the Hyatt Grand Cyprus (rather than in Longwood/Winter Park with the in-laws). This is generally where we stay when we visit for Thanksgiving (almost every year)… and this will be our last year staying here!
The in-laws are building a beautiful (and gigantic) new home… so goodbye to the Hyatt for good!
Any date night suggestions? NO chains please… and no tourist traps. I’m looking for hidden gems.
I’m also looking for some ‘off the beaten path’ fun things to do with the 4-yo. All suggestions welcome!
Thanks!!!
I always turn to the ChowHounds when I head out of town and they have never let me down.
I just did a search of the Florida board and see a few items that might please you. Here's the link

Have a wonderful time and Happy Thanksgiving.
One of my words of thanks will be "Tammy." You inspired me to take BostonZest.com to the next level.
Thank you
Sounds terrific!
A little recommendation, I found these to be so delicious and useful in my kitchen: http://bajoseasonedsalts.com/
Cheers.

To start out your date night you should definitely hit the Wine Room in Winter Park, if you are out that way. It is such a cool place.
Have fun!
