Too funny… my sister said the exact same thing! It actually doesn’t look BAD. It looks like very thinly sliced salami or pepperoni (the size of salami). I just love going to radom places in the states and seeing how different the cuisine can be. Everything here is about BEEF!
Creamed chipped beef on toast – lordy, you just brought me back to my childhood. I think this was something they served in the army in the 40′s or 50′s so my father experienced it and apparently thought it was good enough to eat as a civilian and share with his family.
