Number 19 — on the list of 1001 Things to Eat Before You Die is Marula… an African tree fruit that has an earthy, fruity scent with a sweet-and-sour taste. When left on the tree until fully ripe, the Marula drop to the ground (or are helped by larger animals) where nature’s booze bags gobble them up like there’s not tomorrow.
