Juicy – Day 3


Headache, headache, headache. That about sums it up. I woke up feeling great… and then the headache started in about 2 hours ago (it’s 1:35pm EST now). I will say I’m not hungry today like I was yesterday…  I just have an excruciating migraine. Of course, I haven’t taken anything yet (b/c I’m not at home), but I can guarantee I’ll be popping some Excedrin Migraine as soon as I can get my grubby little paws on it.

“When you are really up against it and want a quick breakfast or lunch, this smoothie is very high in a wide range of nutrients and is very quick to prepare.”

1 small banana
7 oz fresh orange juice (I made my own with 2 blood oranges)

Throw all the ingredients in the blender and process.

This was good, but like yesterday, not enough. So I went back down to my safe haven — Starbucks — and got me another Grande, Skinny, Caramel Macchiato.

I am not at home so I had to make due with what I have access to. According to the label, it contains:

Apple Juice

Broccoli
Spinach
Barley Grass
Wheat Grass
Parsley
Ginger Root
Blue Green Algae
Odorless Garlic

It’s quite good… and has 170 calories per serving (for 10oz)… plus a ton of vitamins and nutrients. I still have my headache though. I may be having something solid when I get home… maybe a salad and some protein. Or just some protein. We’ll see.
